The other day, we had a huge storm, and the power went out right when photoshop was in the process of shutting down. The next time that I powered up PS, 2 years worth of brushes were reset back to the defaults. Does anyone know if there is a way to restore them, or if they are lost for good?
Thanks in advance.

If you haven't reinstalled Photoshop, your brushes should be there somewhere. Look just under Replace Brushes. If they aren't there, they can be saved in the Brushes folder, just click on Load and find your Brushes folder, usually located at C: >> Program Files >> Adobe >> Photoshop >> Presets >> Brushes.

It's not the fact that there was a major storm, it was just that Photoshop was in the process of closing right when the computer shut off.

I tried that, and I couldn't find anything.
Thanks anyway, but I think they're gone forever. :/
