I use a lot of animated images for profiles that I create for my friends. GIF's have been okay, but sometimes they end up grainy. I've found SWF files are far better for resolution.

The problem is I haven't been able to figure out how to use a SWF file for the contact box. I'm not even sure if you can. I know the code to use for a GIF contact box, and I've tried to modify and tweak it around code I've found to post SWF files, but nothing has worked so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you can use the <embed> tag in MySpace, but that's what you'd have to use for each swf file.

Yeah, you can use EMBED. I'm able to get the SWF file posted in other sections of myspace and it looks great, but getting it to post in the contact box is proving to be a challenge. There's some special coding or something for links and what not. I'm almost certain it's possible, I'm just not smart enough to figure it out yet.

Well, I don't know enough about MySpace to help you anymore [don't have one, don't want one  ]. Have you tried searching the MySpace forum on this site or doing a google search?

Finding anything on the Myspace forums is a joke. I've done some google searches, but that's almost equally ridiculous because you get links for sites that offer images and music players and yeah. LOL.

It's all good. I appreciate the attempt. Hopefully someone else here will have some info or I'll be able to figure out on my own. We'll see. It's not vital or anything.
