Okay, Natalie and I kinda had a little schpiel going in the Movies thread about POTC, so I'm starting a new thread solely about Captain Jack and the gang.

For starters, Captain Jack shouldn't have had to die, Will shouldn't have chosen to marry Elizabeth, Elizabeth is definitely not the best character in the series, and Tia Dalma is just plain creepy.

If you watch the DVD of the first movie and wait till all the credits are finished, there is a scene when the monkey takes out one of the medallions. Right at the end.

I think Jack is definitely dead. That's why you're gonna see his dad in movie number 3. Just a sneaky suspicion I have. Has anyone checked any movie sites yet to see what the details describe?

Jack is definently alive in the 3rd film because I have seen pictures of him from the third film and he looks alive to me! :D
