View Full Version : Calling All Star Wars Freaks!
kenobi29 07-28-2006, 05:46 PM Just curious how many people out there on the LEIA forums are Star Wars geeks like me. Please post!
Plus, if any of you have a Star Wars website, I'd love to view it...
Lissa 07-28-2006, 05:50 PM I got into Star Wars at one point, because my then-current boyfriend was obsessed :confusion My boyfriend NOW hasn't even watched one of the movies! I'm impartial :)
amyaurora 07-28-2006, 05:53 PM I enjoy Star Wars. Not all freaky about it however.
Chris 07-28-2006, 06:04 PM I enjoy Star Wars. Not all freaky about it however.
Same. I enjoy the movies, but that's as far as I go with it :)
Arwen 07-28-2006, 06:58 PM I don't like Star Wars! :stickout: I'm a LOTR fan! :hehe:
Y!eld 07-28-2006, 07:00 PM Actually, I've came across a website in which the owner makes movies; I think some of them might be inspired by Star Wars, but I can't post the link. :-\
kenobi29 07-28-2006, 07:04 PM *GASP* yeah, LOTR is fun, but SW is waaaaaaaay better
Arwen 07-28-2006, 07:22 PM *GASP* yeah, LOTR is fun, but SW is waaaaaaaay better
Totally disagree! :lolo:
Douglas 07-28-2006, 07:27 PM WOOOO GO STARWARS!!! StarWars is the best set of movies ever made!
Arwen 07-28-2006, 07:47 PM Yeah, they are good for little kids like Douglas! :hehe:
Chris 07-28-2006, 07:49 PM  They're not the best films ever at all!
kenobi29 07-28-2006, 08:01 PM YES! Thanks Douglas!! I totally agree... which makes sense because I started this thread in the first place. :):):):):):):):)
SUPER RP06 07-28-2006, 08:19 PM I don't like Star Wars. I'm not a Star Wars fan.
Douglas 07-28-2006, 08:21 PM Tut tut Ryan and Chris you can just go away :P Star Wars is teh bomb :D Ok, maybe not the best films, but I still think they are up there :D
Arwen 07-28-2006, 08:25 PM ^Did you read my last post?
Douglas 07-28-2006, 08:26 PM Exquese me I'm not a little kid... I'm a younger kid hehe
Arwen 07-28-2006, 08:27 PM Of course you are! :stickout: Joke! :lolo:
Chris 07-28-2006, 08:29 PM Arwen and I are young adults :D
Owlie42 07-28-2006, 08:34 PM I actually have never seen them. I failed. *goes off to hide in the corner*
Chris 07-28-2006, 08:36 PM I actually have never seen them. I failed. *goes off to hide in the corner*
*le gasp*
star wars, trek, lotr, etc... its all good.
i do prefer starwars over the others though.
i've got extended versions of all the shows, wall pictures, and a few sets of the trading cards (from some years back). no action figures anymore :(
Arwen 07-28-2006, 08:47 PM Arwen and I are young adults :D
Yep! ;)
kenobi29 07-28-2006, 08:59 PM Personally, I'm a huge fan of Star Wars (hence the name kenobi29.
Arwen 07-28-2006, 09:00 PM Did you notice my username? :lolo:
kenobi29 07-28-2006, 09:32 PM OMG!!! how can you SAY that??!!??!!??
youre weird.
onigiri 07-29-2006, 12:05 AM I actually have never seen them. I failed. *goes off to hide in the corner*
Well, you really didn't miss anything good. :P
OMG!!! how can you SAY that??!!??!!??
youre weird.
I may be weird, but at least I don't like star wars
J to the izzosh 07-29-2006, 01:34 PM I may be weird, but at least I don't like star wars
Hahaha, that actually did make me "laugh out loud". Great.
I enjoyed Star Wars, though. Enough to be disppointed when I realized that I'd forgotten about Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you), but not nearly as much as my brother, who would probably sell his soul for a collection of Star Wars paraphernalia. Definitely preferred the original films, though. The Empire Strikes Back is where it's at, boy-eeez.
LadyBatChic 07-29-2006, 03:14 PM Star Wars and Star Trek~
How could I not love them both? I remember watching the original Star Wars movie in the theatres seven times -- and I have not ever watched a movie so many times ever since. :lolol:
"Princess LEIA, long may she reign." :stickout:
 xx dee
Cherchezlafemme 07-29-2006, 03:48 PM I like StarWars, but I don't think I'm a huge fan. As mentioned above, Star Trek is ok too, I guess. The only thing I have Star "anything" related is a Wookiee doll and an alarm "Enterprise" clock that goes "Beam me up Scotty!" LOL
Voice in shadows 07-29-2006, 05:52 PM I'm not a huge fan either, although I rather liked the fourth, fifth and sixth movies. those were the best. ouf of the most recent films, I only like the third one.
I WANT THAT ALARM CHERCHEZLAFEMME!
kenobi29 07-29-2006, 06:03 PM i thought the second one was great, and the first one, and the fourth, and the fifth, and the sixth, but the third one was awesome! Lucas did a great job of tying the saga together with Revenge of the Sith :)
Voice in shadows 07-29-2006, 06:11 PM That was a really good tie in. The ending was too sad though. :'(
Chris 07-29-2006, 07:38 PM Yoda totally r0XeRz My BoXeRsSzZ. Yeah
kenobi29 07-29-2006, 08:02 PM That was a really good tie in. The ending was too sad though. :'(
Yeah, I agree, but at least my favorite character lived... HAIL YODA!
Chris 07-29-2006, 08:04 PM See my previous post.
Douglas 07-30-2006, 04:53 AM Well if you saw the older movies you would have seen that Yoda lived in the 3rd one :P I like the old ones better. hehe
kenobi29 07-30-2006, 10:54 PM i already knew yoda would live in the third one, i'd seen the original trilogy billions of times *exaggeration...*
thats the only bad thing about RotS, you already know the basic outcome of the story. i still loved it even though lucas killed padme. that made me a little mad. what did she ever do wrong?
J to the izzosh 07-31-2006, 05:48 AM what did she ever do wrong?
Apparently, childbirth.
Greeney 07-31-2006, 05:50 AM Apparently, childbirth.
As well as supporting democracy. :D
kenobi29 07-31-2006, 05:48 PM too bad nearly everyone who believed in democracy and what was right had to die in that movie. pretty much the only ones who lived were the ones that play a key part in the OT (bail organa, obi-wan, and yoda)
Voice in shadows 07-31-2006, 06:14 PM OT?
Yeah, that did suck that everyone died. I especially hated when Anakin killed Mace Windoo (or however it's spelled)
kenobi29 07-31-2006, 06:17 PM its Windu. yeah that sucked, considering the fact that an entire form of lightsaber combat died with him. OT means original trilogy, sorry.
kenobi29 07-31-2006, 08:12 PM okay, sorry about the double post, but does anyone know how to do rotoscoping using Publisher Pro? i'm trying to do a lightsaber effect but i'm having troubles...
Greeney 07-31-2006, 08:27 PM OT?
Yeah, that did suck that everyone died. I especially hated when Anakin killed Mace Windoo (or however it's spelled)
But you must have expected it.
I was expecting Anakin to have personally killed the more elite Jedi's rather than just the stormtroopers.
kenobi29 07-31-2006, 08:30 PM Yeah, like Ki-Adi-Mundi and Aayla Secura. It seems strange to me that Aayla didn't even notice that the troopers behind her were going to fire at her; she's just walking and falls. You'd think she'd at least turn around or something.
Voice in shadows 08-01-2006, 12:25 AM She knew they were there, but a few seconds before they had been on her side. They turned when they got a message through their communicators in their helmets. That's why she wasn't expecting it.

kenobi29 08-01-2006, 03:31 PM nah I don't like starwars ^^
*GASP* you're weird.
jeyjack 08-01-2006, 03:38 PM *GASP* you're weird.
hum? Just a question of flavours..
Chris 08-01-2006, 03:41 PM *GASP* you're weird.
You've got to learn to be more tolerant of people who don't have the same taste in films to you. Just because they don't enjoy what you enjoy, doesn't make them weird.
kenobi29 08-01-2006, 05:12 PM i know, i know... in my case, weird is a compliment. weird=unique. unique=good.
jeyjack 08-01-2006, 08:28 PM i know, i know... in my case, weird is a compliment. weird=unique. unique=good.
unique because I don't like starwars? :P Nevermind
