I got into Star Wars at one point, because my then-current boyfriend was obsessed :confusion My boyfriend NOW hasn't even watched one of the movies! I'm impartial :)

i do prefer starwars over the others though.
i've got extended versions of all the shows, wall pictures, and a few sets of the trading cards (from some years back). no action figures anymore :(

Hahaha, that actually did make me "laugh out loud". Great.

I enjoyed Star Wars, though. Enough to be disppointed when I realized that I'd forgotten about Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you), but not nearly as much as my brother, who would probably sell his soul for a collection of Star Wars paraphernalia. Definitely preferred the original films, though. The Empire Strikes Back is where it's at, boy-eeez.

How could I not love them both? I remember watching the original Star Wars movie in the theatres seven times -- and I have not ever watched a movie so many times ever since. :lolol:

I like StarWars, but I don't think I'm a huge fan. As mentioned above, Star Trek is ok too, I guess. The only thing I have Star "anything" related is a Wookiee doll and an alarm "Enterprise" clock that goes "Beam me up Scotty!" LOL :lol:

I'm not a huge fan either, although I rather liked the fourth, fifth and sixth movies. those were the best. ouf of the most recent films, I only like the third one.

i thought the second one was great, and the first one, and the fourth, and the fifth, and the sixth, but the third one was awesome! Lucas did a great job of tying the saga together with Revenge of the Sith :)

That was a really good tie in. The ending was too sad though. :'(

too bad nearly everyone who believed in democracy and what was right had to die in that movie. pretty much the only ones who lived were the ones that play a key part in the OT (bail organa, obi-wan, and yoda)

I was expecting Anakin to have personally killed the more elite Jedi's rather than just the stormtroopers.

Yeah, like Ki-Adi-Mundi and Aayla Secura. It seems strange to me that Aayla didn't even notice that the troopers behind her were going to fire at her; she's just walking and falls. You'd think she'd at least turn around or something.

She knew they were there, but a few seconds before they had been on her side. They turned when they got a message through their communicators in their helmets. That's why she wasn't expecting it.
