Hi, I have cutenews on my website and everything, but the background is white.

Like, I made a new layout for my website, and the place where my posts are supposed to go is gray, and then when i put cutenews there, the background for the posts turned out white.

Does anyone know how to make the background transparent?
I have tried so many things.

You have to log into CuteNews and edit the template.

After you log in, go to Options, then click on Edit Templates. You shouldn't have to change it from default. Then, just click on the links below [Active News, Full Story, et cetera] to customize them to your liking. :)

Well, I've already edited it and everything, and I have my own css for the cutenews. It's just that the background of my posts won't change colors.

That's weird, because all I did was edit the template on mine and it changed background colors.

Could you post a link to your page? Maybe there's an error somewhere that might be causing it to not change the background color.

Yeah. Um, I haven't put the actual layout on my site yet, but I made a test index, just to make sure everything works before I put it on there.
