So I go to my control panel, and the first thing I see is "Latest Reputation Recieved" followed by a link to a forum. Then it says something about points on top?
I never knew about reputations or whatnot...what are they/is it? And what's this whole points system?

The green dots unders your post count are reputation. If someone thinks you're helpful they add to your reputation and you can view it in you cpanel.

There is also an option under the vbux store for increasing your own reputation. Has anyone done that?

Yep, it's just reputation you have, the more green bars, the more rep, and people who know what rep is will notice you are for the most part helpful and/or friendly. :)
