Lissa, you don't seem like the type who would get into coding nor start a forum.
I guess I'm being sterotypical but usually girls who look like you don't dabble on internet except for simple things.

What I mean by "girls who look like you" is that I think you look very pretty.
Everyone look at Lissa and her sister, who is also pretty

I second that.

But she did get into it and thats all I care about! But yeah, she doesn't really look like the type to get into this stuff.

Let me judge, I'm honest. I don't sugar coat anything, not even sugarless cereal.

Me thinks I agree.

Even though Arwen is right, you don't have to be ugly to be into HTML and computers.

Yeah, me thinks it is not appearance that determines whether you are interested in computers.

LYKE OmG ADD ME ON MY sPaCe!!^&$*^@# << That's the kind of girl I'm supposed to be, I guess :lolol: When I started this whole thing, I was very awkward and lonely, trouble at school and making friends and such :( Web design is a pretty lonely thing, so I fit the bill pretty well! :D A lot of girls that end up doing this kind of stuff are pretty, like Arwen! In high school, people would get confused when I told them I was in AP Bio, Java, or AP Comp Sci :confusion It's too bad that people stereotype in that way, but to be honest, I don't think that attractive people feel the need to be smart.. just visit a sorority :P

And thanks, but that's a bad picture  I like this (http://myspace-444.vo.llnwd.net/00514/44/47/514237444_l.jpg)one better, minus my roots X)

I met many, many people at my college orientation who looked like the "LYKE OmG ADD ME ON MY sPaCe!!^&$*^@#"-type. Except they were all majoring in chemical engineering or physics or something like that. My mom, I'm afraid to say, is definitely one to stereotype people like that. Those people usually turn out to be National Merit Scholars. Of course, there was a huge population of people at my school who looking like and were the "LYKE OmG ADD ME ON MY sPaCe!!^&$*^@#" type. Those, I spent four years trying to avoid--part of the reason I turned down a fair bit of scholarship money

:lolol:

couldn't have put it better myself.
Not to sound mean or anything, but I hate it how appearance determines whether someone is or is not the "type" to do something. That jsut proves that we let the media get to us. Pretty girls are not only concieted cheerleaders, and ugly girls are not always nice and studious.

I wasn't trying to say that only ugly ladys were into computers, I was just saying that Lissa doesn't look like the type that would be. But that also doesn't mean that Lissa shouldn't be into computers. But ugly girls can also not be into... I'm confused.

All I meant was that Lissa doesn't look like everyone would think a computer junkie (sorry if I'm offending you) would look like, just because she is absolutely pretty. *sigh* I'm confused myself again. Hopefully someone understands.
