anyone know of a easy-to-install event calendar that's really, really small? (like 120 px wide). I want one of those ones that shows the event when you hover over the date..

You can try something in Javascript (http://www.google.com/search?q=javascript+event+calendar). The tables don't have fixed sizes, so you can adjust it manually to fit your requirements.
