View Full Version : Wordpress themes.... sugarpuppy 07-23-2006, 06:41 AM does anybody know how to make one? help!!!! J to the izzosh 07-23-2006, 02:59 PM Not offhand, I'm afraid. Wordpress, however, seem to have everything that you will need (http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development). Tip of the day: Google can be your best friend on the web (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=create+wordpress+theme&btnG=Google+Search). sugarpuppy 08-03-2006, 06:08 AM well, do youn know any sites with an easier one? J to the izzosh 08-03-2006, 11:38 PM No, I've never used Wordpress. That is why I also posted a Google link to get you started in other directions should you not find what you needed from Wordpress. Though, I would think that they would have the best documentation on the matter, which is why I posted a link to their site. If it doesn't seem to make sense, perhaps you should try to learn some of the technologies involved like HTML, CSS, and PHP. Though I have no additional information for you, I am moving your thread to our blog software forum, where someone may be able to provide you assistance. Milque 08-05-2006, 06:37 AM The Wordpress Codex can be a tad confusing most times. However, I found a tutorial that is way easier to understand at Urban Giraffe (http://www.urbangiraffe.com/2005/04/12/themeguide1/) which I used to create my own theme. It's actually a guide to dissect the default Wordpress theme, Kubrick, but also useful for Wordpress beginners. Moderate HTML and CSS knowledge is required, but barely any PHP. So, yeah. Good luck! |
