I was in our basement looking for something good to do, and I found an old portable deJay record player!! But, of course, you have to have some vinyls to play!! So then I found my mom's old box of vinyls, along with alot of "junk" (TREASURE!!!) from the sixties. So I'm listening to the Monkees right now :hehe:
Of course my mom isn't home so I have to get everything back the way it was...

:) That's cool.
I have a turn table in my room, it was in the living room downstairs(An obvious place), but when we got our new tv and stand, it didn't fit on it to where the top would open.
It's the only Sony product we have that I know has lived longer than a year :lolo: It's amazing.
Now I just wished we still had an 8-track player... It got ruined in a flood we have several years ago in the basement. I believe we still have some 8-tracks with an original holder, that's somewhat cool in itself.

It actually doesn't sound too bad... I wish it had a Line Out jack, though. Then I could rip the tracks off it :D
Oo fun :) I wish we still had ours :(

Sounds like fun Steven! We have a record player and lots of records in Norway. I haven't really listened to them though. My sister has listened to some Sesame Street ones some....they are actually kinda funny!

My iPod only has like 30 songs on it :D And most of them are the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack. I like records now :hehe: I want to scratch 'em, but this player won't let you turn in the other way... Its hard to... I guess I can stick to my virtual vinyls, but not the same... I want to be a DJ now :)

Sounds like fun! We have a record player. Two, actually. One in the dining room, one in the basement. We don't really use them anymore, but we do have a bunch of old records. Mostly military band stuff (for some odd reason. They're my dad's) and classical (I have found a recording of "The Planets" in the basement.)
