Thanks amyaurora 07-20-2006, 08:55 PM What program are you using? If you're using PSP here is one tutorial http://www.pixelfx.org/tuts/psp8/textimage.html The main site (pixelfx.org) has tutorials for both PSP and Photoshop. Mrs Barrett 07-20-2006, 09:12 PM I have photoshop 9 and paint shop pro 9 Mrs Barrett 07-20-2006, 09:35 PM soz wheres the anti alias ? amyaurora 07-21-2006, 12:18 AM soz wheres the anti alias ? This image shows where Anti alias is for PSP (Last row)http://www.pixelfx.org/tuts/psp8/img/textimage1.jpg It should be close to the same place for Photoshop. Rufaida 07-21-2006, 12:48 PM I think the way I do it is slightly different than as shown in the tutorial so I will tell you my way aswell. Just make a text layer of whatever you wanted to write, then rasterize that layer. Select the outline of the now rasterized text by pressing control and click that layer. Take the image you wanted inside the text and copy it, then go to edit > paste inside (the text outlines should still be selected). Then move the image around or doing any necessary transformations on it, then I would merge those 2 layers together (merge down). In my opinion it will also look better to put a stroke on it, so with that newly merged layer, select the edges again with control and clicking on the layer. Then go edit> stroke. A 1 pixel will look the best imo, usually in black. Hopefully that will be helpful, I have not tried it the tutorial way not sure which is better, but the one I told is very quick and easy and works fine :) ..::Kira::.. 07-21-2006, 02:59 PM I use the same way as Rufaida does. It works for me too. |
