So last night was amazing! I got to go see Hawthorne Heights at The Magic Stick in downtown Detroit. It's like a club/bowling alley combined in 3 floors. It was a "VIP" concert... We did community service with Boost Mobile Rock Corps last weekend to get a ticket, so no money involved. The concert was incredible. This place fits about 500 someone said, and there were only 160 of us. I went with 2 of my friends, and we got there semi-early, so we got an amazing place to stand... Stage right, front row. We could touch the stage, and as a matter of fact, we were leaning on it at some points.
JT said it was the longest said they have every played in their history. Normally they only play 40 minute sets but they played exactly an hour, it rocked. We were at most 2-3 feet from Micah, probably about 7 from JT, which was awesome. Eron, for those of you who don't know, is the drummer, he was looking our way like the whole show, making eye contact. It was really weird. Like, we would look at him and he would be looking back and you didn't want to stop looking. I think he is awesome, he is such an incredible drummer.
So after the concert we met Eron first, got his autograph, and talked for a few minutes. I walked over to the stage and got a pick that was either used by Casey or Matt. I should say it was Casey's because I like him more. I wish I could have gotten one of Eron's sticks, but a pick will certainly do :). So I had to go walk in downtown Detroit 5 blocks to go get the car, because the garage closed at 10:45. I gave them my shirt incase anyone else came out and just wore my button up shirt to the car. I got back and just in time for JT. They were talking to him, and so we got his autograph too. So I didn't miss anything, I was pretty pleased. At that point it was getting empty so we just decided to take off.
So... Picture time :)

Yeah, it was a great night, that experience was worth much more than 4 hours of cleaning Belle Isle... And especially since I just went to a Panic! At The Disco concert last Wednesday in Cleveland, but this was much more worth posting on here :)
