In the Basics section of the site there is a link to a GIF Cruncher. I use it somewhat frequently. I tried using it today though, to optimize an animation and when I went to save it, I could only save it as a .bmp. Only gifs have animation.

Why is it doing this all of a sudden? Argh, it's making me hella fustrated 'cause I need to make my avatars smaller. I don't know how to with Photo and Paint shop. Well, I think I know how, it just doesn't work well for me...

Anyways... yeah. Can someone tell me what's wrong?

If it's the same for saving other images online as well (only as .bmp) you might need to clean out your temporary internet files (tools>internet options)
