This is a 3D projection based on real astronomical data taking the viewer through a journey between the brightest stars in the night sky. As you pass your mouse about the virtual universe you receive data:
:blob: Distance from earth (light years),
:blob: Spectral Type,
:blob: RA
:blob: and DEC.
A great interactive “Star Trek.”

I thought I'd like to share this with you!

Well -- I really can't tag one specific star either. For me, it is more like a random trek through this site, Arwen. But this doesn't bring me frustration -- just increases my wonder as to where I could land next. . .

The ordeal with not seeing where my mouse is bugs me just a little, but I think its really cool how I can randomly see stuff in the known part of the universe!
