Hey people. Everytime I go to my site, there's an icon that says there's a syntax error in my site. The weird thing is, it appears on EVERY page of my site! It's always Line 2, Char 29. Someone help pls?

if it is a GeoCities site, then it is not your pages error. it is an error in the GeoCities advertisement.

You can try http://www.brinkster.com They have no ads at all, but sites hosted there generally seem to be slower.

there is no way to get rid of the error on your part.
GeoCities probably well knows about it, there is no contact with them.

other free starter hosts you may try are :
http://www.tripod.com
http://www.angelfire.com
very similar to using geocities.

i would say don't worry about the error though. most people who are visiting a geocities site knows about it and know it isnt your site with the error. plus geocities will "fix" it once in a while so no error will occur sometimes too.

i'm asking your site because then i can help. An add is always at the end of your coding, but you say the error is always one line 2, so i'm wondering if it could be something else too.

could you atleast put your beginning of 10 lines here of the coding? you can take out the title if you want to... If not, then i'm sorry but i can't help you then

ok den i've another question. u know neopets? using css i think its possible to cover the banner or shield of ur lookup with ur own design. if it's possible to do that, would it be possible to cover the error icon with something else using css like neopets or html?

my url is www.geocities.com/lene_vintage
