Hello all you tech-savy guys/gals. Does anyone know of a Free GIF Optimizer or Compressor to reduce image file size? I am just making a personal website and don't want to have to pay for this utility if I don't have to. Any links or names would be great. Thanks!

If you don't need animantion GIF then you can convert it into PNG. By loading into paint then save as. Then using free pngcrush.exe (many place for you to download i CAN NOT PUT THE LINK HERE BECAUSE SOME MAY THINK I PUT AN ADs). to sompress at the highgest level That will give you the best compression ratio. Beside that PNG is a free W3C standard while GIF compression is patent protected, and only avaliable for some.
