Hi all this is my first post and this one is eating at me big time. :confusion

What I'm wondering is if there is a way to create a type of hyper link to connect to a game server. I have seen this done before. One example is the United federationa Academy MOD in Call Of Duty: United Offensive. There are a set of buttons that when you clock in the main menu, the pre-selected servers would be connected to. I was curious if this was possible through HTML or if it was done through game files only. im realllllly going out of my mind:scared: so any help I may recieve is very appreciated and a shoutout to whoever Lissa is because I learned all my HTML here! w00h00

check my silly geeky internet game parodies and stuffs at

Yes I think you can if you have the url, but I dont think a users browser will be able to connect to a game server. The user would need to have the proper client.

Also could you post a link to the site that does what you are trying to do.

David

This is all within the mod in-game.

Although I have had friends on Xfire with coding in their name to access servers. That sighting of the link into the game server waas my first inclination to attempt this in a website. Also I am hoping to create a Mod for CoD:UO. hmmm i wish i could include a pic but wait if i recall my html doesnt work in the forums T_T.
