You know at the entrance or wherever in website where it says IE6+/800x600/Java/etc?

How do you find out if your site can only be viewed with Internet Explorer 6 and up (or whatever)??

One more thing... What are tables? Design tables or whatever when making layouts. What do they do/for/whatever.

I hate having to ask these questions...

1- What types of items do you use in your page? Like IFRAMES etc... That just tells you what is recomended to view your webpage correctly. Just write the settings you made your web page in.
If you use a special "code" or "script" in your web page check where you got it, it usually says IE 4 or higher something like that.

2-Tables help:

Like I said in the last thread you posted you're not "retarded" or an "idiot" you're just new ;)

I'll copy Cherchezlafemme's answering method ^^

1 - with the browser, a lot of people guess, or just put the browser they use. It's pretty inaccurate because I don't use IE6+ and I can still view they're site.

2 - when I made my first webpage, the teacher gave us the impression that tables were only used to display data - which is incorrect (he wasn't a very good teacher :P). It took me a while before I realized that tables could be use to display things on a pages - text, images.

you allready asked this question in the graphics forum once. Don't ask this twice. If people know the answer they will answer it there. Once is more then enough

Sorry for posting the question twice.

Thanks for clearing the tables question up. Of course a couple thousand more have been born. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.
