JustLikeHermion 07-14-2003, 12:36 AM where do i make a layout if i don't have paintshop pro? could i make it in powerpoint? kicker91 07-14-2003, 12:58 AM you could use powerpoint, but its not very good. you can't go pixel by pixel, and it usually ends up blurry and horrible quality. you could download a free trial at www.jasc.com. Alcy 07-14-2003, 06:46 AM There's a lot of free graphics programs you could make your layout with. If you're using windows, you should already have Paint.... http://www.lissaexplains.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36314 ^ if you search the forum, you'll probably find other programs. JustLikeHermion 07-14-2003, 04:07 PM wel, ya see, my computer is very messed up and I don' t have the money to buy myself my own laptop....so my paint program doesn't work. i dont think i would be capable of making one without a lot of help from someone either. right now i am just taking free layouts and editing them from other websites. hmph. oh well. thanx for the help guys. MaGiCSuN 07-14-2003, 07:33 PM why don't you format your computer then again and install only the needed stuff? also a disk clean-up might allready help allot. Start > programs > accesoires > system tools > disk cleanup Love, Mirna Superstar 07-16-2003, 04:24 AM how do u format the computer? (whats dat mean n-e way?) Dude128 07-16-2003, 04:38 AM formatting a disk is erasing everything on it, and just setting up the file system on it (basically the method that the Operating System uses to store and organize files). if you format your hard drive, you will be erasing everything on it, and from there you can reinstall Windows (or whatever other OS you want to use), and start fresh. however, you also lose all installed programs (so you would have to locate the installation disks for all of your programs and reinstall them), and files unless you back up what you need. it may sound extreme, but in some cases it can be the best option if your OS is really messed up. Superstar 07-16-2003, 05:28 AM how do i do that?? i need to know coz my OS is REEEEALLY messed up!
