So, how fast can you type?
I just took keyboarding and word processing for summer school (hence, I came here mostly in the mornings when I was done with my lessons!)

I can type about 70 wam... a little slower, a little faster depending on the circumstances...

I type pretty slow, cos my current keyboard is German... :lolo:

Really? why would a german keyboard slow you down? the only difference between a German and US keyboard letters are y and z are swapped...?

then again, I totally just based that off of a quick google image search of "german keyboard" lol

Only y and z? How about all the question marks, commas, { } and [ ], slash and <> and - and = and ' and *??? Ohhh, how I hate writing the HTML and CSS codes with it!!!!! :lolol:

I went to TypingTest.com and did the WPM test.. I guess my gross speed is 87 WPM, net speed is 83 WPM, and my accuracy is 95% :blush:

<edit> I took it again, and gross was 88, net was 85, and accuracy was 96%.. I guess it's pretty consistent :P

I can't do typing tests, I can only type fast when I know what I'm typing. When I'm programming I bet you I could probably go over 120WPM but when I'm reading something maybe 75WPM... I'll take it now and tell everyone later ;)

I know what you mean Kate....Norwegian and English keyboards are different too. It's not that bad, except now we have a English keyboard that is set by default on Norwegian......

I usually type about 50-60 wpm.

on typingtest.com I'm 80, normally I range about 90-100 though. :( I need to practice again.

i'm between 85-90...but sometimes i make mistakes :/

69 WPM. Heh, I'm not that good :lol:

I'm around 65 WPM. Not too horrible, I guess. ;)

85 WPM. I used to be faster when I had keyboarding class in middle school.
