i have a slide show type photo gallery that I really like. You click 'next' to see the next picture. BUT the problem when I add a pic, it's the last few pics. I know popele are going to have the patience to sit there and click thru hundreds of pics to see a few new ones. I don't want to do the regular thumbnail thing, thats so old.

The script I'm using is numbered.. its like this...

photos[0]="dru90.gif"
photos[1]="dru91.jpg"
photos[2]="dru92.jpg"
photos[3]="dru93.jpg"
photos[4]="dru94.jpg"
photos[5]="dru95.jpg"
photos[6]="dru202.jpg"

I cant restart the count because it deletes pictures. So does anybody know how to fix this problem or know of any other photo galleries?

can't you just add a new photo to the code below:

photos[0]="dru89.gif"
photos[0]="dru90.gif"
photos[1]="dru91.jpg"
photos[2]="dru92.jpg"
photos[3]="dru93.jpg"
photos[4]="dru94.jpg"
photos[5]="dru95.jpg"
photos[6]="dru202.jpg"

the bold one is new one. and then change the count of the other graphics? so that the newest one is always at first?

so your coding would look then again like this:

photos[0]="dru89.gif"
photos[1]="dru90.gif"
photos[2]="dru91.jpg"
photos[3]="dru92.jpg"
photos[4]="dru93.jpg"
photos[5]="dru94.jpg"

if i restart the count it would take forever because I have so many pics... like 100...any other options?

couldnt yu just link to new pics on the main page? Like just a simple <a href="photos[102]">click for new picture!</a> would work...

or, alternatly, you could count backwards from something like 2000....would that work?
