It's a present but however long it takes will be fine. But any to my question. How would I blend the images together to make the collage. I am using GIMP 2. Please help alls I could find were Adobe and Paint Shop Tutorials.

That was the best tutorial I could find that involved two separate images. Hopefully, the process they use can help you create the collage you want! :)
