I have limited bandwidth on my site and I was wondering if there was a way to track the image. When I say track I mean if someone is using the direct link to the image itself, is there a way to find out which image is being hotlinked?

i dont think there is a way to track it or not, but if you are allowed to use "htaccess" files, then you can stop hotlinking.
