OKAY, i downloaded some freebie program to convert images, and to my suprise it came with gif animating capabilities. tis called 11view 3.0 or something like that.. i have no problem getting my animations to come out well when i preview them, but when i upload and view it on my website, it only goes through the frame sequence once.. how can i loop it? i tried a lot of things making the animation, but it never worked out... :/

:: obviously you need to look over your i_view animation program for timing and looping capabilties. :: sometimes the info is there, but we just can't find it!

:: i have been finding a similar problem if i create an animation with assistance from the GIMP, but I have only been using the GIMP for a short time.

:: however, i was able to get a hold of a very simple program created by Microsoft, called the Microsoft Gif Animator, which helps you program your looping requirements. :: just transfer your completed gif animation to this progam, and you can then see it broken down into animation cells. :: then, by clicking onto the timing panel, you can then check off endless looping. :: i would advise proofing your animation on your Windows picture file viewer, first, to see how fast your animation loops. :: then you can adjust the timing as well, before saving as a final project.

:: i found a version of the Microsoft Gif Animator at this website, but note that it is freeware, and I would advise doing a virus scan before downloading/using --> http://www.freewareweb.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?ID=288 (http://www.freewareweb.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?ID=288)

xx hope this helps! dee

I got one called Active GIF Creator, Probably have to google it to find it, and it will say it cost like 30 USD, but I just downloaded it, I guess it is a trial version. Even though it hasnt expired.

Good Luck!
