Is that possible? I'm in the middle of revamping my site, and I'm using transparent tables, but I didn't realize it makes the text transparent, too. Is it possible to NOT have that happen?

I just want the text to show up white instead of see-through. If ANYONE can help me I'll really appreciate it.

The only way to do it is take out the opacity code. If you want the image to be be lighter, and the text still the same colour, you have to do it yourself and edit the image in an image program.
