First of all,You need to go to Google.com And Type in "Animated (Insert Thing here)" or "(insert Thing here) Animated" And then Choose the Animated gif you want.
Then Open Your Animation Program(Such as Adobe ImageReady or PSP)
And Open your Picture.
If your Animation Window Is Not showing,Then Go to Window>Animation.
Now,if you want text,Then Get your Text tool and Find room where you can
Type your text in & type it in.
Then Save it and Your done!

I know replies are kinda not allowed, but you can just get Microsoft Gif Animator. Google it.

this isn't creating an animated picture, it's adding text to someone else's.. also to people new to image software .etc, "PSP" isn't really that useful. This tutorial only showed how to add text to someone else's, not how to create or reform the image(s)...

constructive criticism:
next time try to explain why you need to do what you do (you say open the animation window but don't seem to use it).
explain what things are for the new users ie (Such as Adobe ImageReady or paint shop pro (PSP))

sorry if i sound mean but i just can't see the point of it :confused:

Sparkleh, even in your tutorial, you only place your name on one layer, thus your name would only be shown on one frame, making your name flash, and everyone with epilepsy would have to take their medication. If you want to have your name not flash, you would have to add the name in the exact same spot for every layer/frame. I use GAP(Gimp Animation Package) for that, comes with an 'optimize animation for gif' button, reducing the size of your animation. :D

Oh, I don't know what PS does about that, I'm not familiar with it.
I think you need to revise your tutorial, some.
