can anyone help with my computer? when i am looking on the web and i find an image like this one image (http://ffx2.net/images/media/wallpapers/site/800/ffx2net_1_800.jpg) its a jpg but when i try to save it..my comp always wants to save it as a bitmap..same with other images even if there gifs or something..can someone help me change it back to normal so i could save picture or images back to jpgs or gifs please please please..????????? 8~(

Clear out your cookies/cache/temp files etc (tools > internet options) :)

Its right there in the general section...im on XP but i assume its the same on all of them....tools > net options > in the general tab > in the temp net files section click delete cookies and delete files.

Warning it takes a while....if you havnt cleared it out in so long that its gotten 'full' id recommend starting it then going away and doing something else for 5-10 minutes!

No problem :) happend to me and i was stuck for weeks before i found out the problem, drove me mad, just remember to clean out all that 'crap' on a regular basis and things should be fine!

lol..it was driving me mad too haha..i was gonna freak but i kept it all in and decided to post it up here and you replyed fast and I am greatful for that...cuz that would drive me more mad if i had to wait for like a day or so for someone to reply lol
