Well, I tried upgrading my wordpress from version 1.2.2 (ancient, I know) to version 2.0.2

There are 2 problems which I have.

Whenever I click on the comments link, to go to the popup comments, it pops up, but is just a permalink to that post, and shows the entire site.

Also, whenever I go to blog a new entry or to edit an old one, I get this message:

Error: Could not find the template function: TinyMCE_advanced_getEditorTemplate

Any suggestions?

First problem: Templating changed a lot with 1.5 so going from 1.2.x to 2.0.x means you're going to have to update your template.

Upgrading from 1.2 to 2.0 isn't the ideal situation.

You won't need all of that since you kinda dove in :) But changing things like your template and such will probably need to be done.

Your second problem sounds like maybe some of the files didn't get uploaded. Try reuploading everything.
