i'm just made a div layout
and i i saved it for the web
but when i save it for the web,
it becomes one of those files that can't be seen in my documents
exept if i try seeing it on the net

but how do i code my 1st layer
like my background

what program are you using to create your layout?

i'm using image ready
and if i want to make an about me section right
do i have to slice it when i'm slicing the add me,message me etc..

its best to use an image editor for images only.
use a text or webpage editor to create webpages.
view some online tutorials and books on how to code a page correctly, add in some images and links, and you should be good to go.
