I think the *'s stand for missing spaces.. like you try to see what fits in there to make the message. There are plenty of things to translate binary.. search google, but you'll have to figure out the *'s on your own. amicus 07-10-2003, 09:26 PM i'm not sure what the '*' are but you can use the calculator in windows. start the calculator and select 'view' --> 'scientific' then click on 'bin' from the radio buttons. put in the binary numbers and click on 'dec' from the radio buttons and it'll convert it for you. or you can do it on your fingers like me :). thumb = 1 index = 2 middle = 4 ring = 8 pinky = 16 if you get good at it you can count up to 31 on one hand, great party trick :). |
