There is a better way.
I explained it here http://www.lissaexplains.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54864
You can download a plugin for IE or Firefox to easily change the browser size/resolution and don't have to mess around with windows's settings for the whole system.
With one click in your browser you can resize the window to whatever resolution you want.
Its faster too - and if you have a lot of Icons on your desktop )like me( they don't change places when you change from a high resolution to a lower one and back.
