I asked a girl for her phone number last night and she told me that wasn't a good idea because she had a boyfriend. I'm eighteen years old, and that was the third girl I've asked out in my life. I've been shot down all three times:(

Hey, dont feel bad. You'll find a girl eventually that will be available.

And don't feel bad about not having a girlfriend. I'm eighteen as well, and the one guy that asked me out was...uh...less than loyal shall we say. Just be optimistic, and you'll find the right girl for you.

Yeah, don't feel bad. Would you rather have this girl lie to you and then come out with the truth later? It was considerate of her to tell you straight-foward. :)

Aww...you'll find someone. It's nice of her to tell you up front that she has a boyfriend, though, instead of her letting you find out for yourself, which coulda led to a lot of problems.

But, you're not the only one. I'm 18 and I've not talked to any guys except my "brothers" in the last six months.

Someone will come along eventually. :)

Eh, a relationship isn't important in your teenage years at all. The right girl does come along, and she will freaking rock. :)

Yeah it's just I always seem to have such bad luck with girls. I asked a girl out at work one time and she said she didn't know. The next night, she started going out with one of my friends there. The first girl I asked out said she'd call me back and never did. I think they might all be a little frightened of me because I'm sick.

I'm sorry about your leukemia. My aunt had it years ago, and was one of the first people to receive bone marrow. She got over it wonderfully. I'll be praying that the same happens for you. :)

As for the girl friend thing, if they're afraid of that fact, then they aren't the right girls for you. A good girl friend would stick by you through thick and thin, when you find her, you'll know because she won't be "afraid" of such things. And dating is overrated, just so you know. :P It's all a big show of who goes out with who at our age.

You'll find someone, just hold on and wait for her.
