AOL and Yahoo is considering employing the CertifiedMail system by Goodmail hich guarantees paying organizations their e-mail will bypass spam filters and be elivered straight to the user’s inbox.

I've written an article about this on my blog [here (http://www.solitarygeek.com/blog/posts/2006/aol-may-enact-a-pay-to-send-e-mail-system)].

I'd like everyone's opinion on this, even if you are not an AOL member.

By the way, I will use these poll results as an update to the article above. ^_^

Danke! Ciao.

The third option is the worst. "Taking away freedom?" As much as I abhor AOL, it's called business. Consumers have the choice to select another e-mail service. You need to reword that.

I worded that to take on DearAOL's view. I kept that part out of the article on my blog because I wanted a neutral article, I'm for either/or.

Ciao.

I dont really care what they do, I dont use either one of them, so they dont effect me, if ntl did that then I would be annoyed.

I don't really care about it, it won't make a difference to me.
