what is FTP and where can i learn it?

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and allows you to upload files from your computer to your website basically

many free servers don't allow FTP and use browser uploading.

There are many tutorials on the internet about using FTP, try searching google.com for one :)

yeah there are a lot of tutorials...u will need to get an FTP program too. If you have IE, they have one built in. to FTP a site, you put in ftp://sitehere.whatever. atleast thats how i get into my FTP account.
