View Full Version : What's good for editing photos? Kristinfeb 04-17-2006, 02:02 AM I know photoshop, but I kinda sorta don't have 500 dollars ... >.<. Umm free trial of it? Or is there another problem. (I tried a free version, but i couldn't install it) J to the izzosh 04-17-2006, 02:52 AM The GIMP (http://www.gimp.org) is a reasonably powerful image editor and is free to boot. AiJahya 04-17-2006, 05:02 PM ^What she said. Use GIMP and I love it. Version 1.2 wasn't very good, but they've fixed a LOT of bugs since then. :) It'll do pretty much everything Photoshop will do, especially if you're just going to edit photos. J to the izzosh 04-18-2006, 05:09 AM ^What she said. Haha, "she"? I realize that I'm dainty and sweet, but other than that (and my witty charm, of course), what gave you the impression that I was female? ;) AiJahya 04-18-2006, 02:56 PM ^The flower. ;) Sorry about that! maztrin 04-18-2006, 03:00 PM a free program for very basic image editing that is available is Picasa from google, you can find it here: http://picasa.google.com/ kiwee 04-18-2006, 04:11 PM I recommend The Gimp like "she" (sorry, couldn't resist ;)) said. Also, this is the wrong forum. J to the izzosh 04-18-2006, 07:09 PM Haha, to heck with you guys. My flower is beautiful. onigiri 04-19-2006, 04:08 AM I've used Paint .NET (http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/), and it's a wonderful program. It has a lot of features, and the layout is pretty user-friendly. |
