Okay, I have downloaded a chat room....

There is a step that says that you need to start the daemon...

I need help on how to do it. It doesnt give complete instructions anywhere and I am completely clueless.... As soon as i get that done however, I will have the chat set up...

And this is really important, I need help asap.

It sounds like this program is a little bit more advanced than your web hosting might allow. I have pretty fancy web hosting and even I wouldn't be allowed to start a server-side chat program like this.

What is the name of the program you are using?

I would recommend using someone like Bravenet for chats, or to find a different chat script with very good documentation.
