SUPER RP06 03-28-2006, 11:57 PM Just a heads up....
Daylight Saving Time will begin on Sunday April 2nd, 2006 for the US and Canada. We will set the clocks forward 1 hour from 2:00 am to 3:00 am
For those who are in Europe, Summer Time has begun last Sunday (March 26, 2006). If you haven't set your clocks 1 hour ahead, and you're in Europe, please do so now.
Here's the dates you should change your clocks

Here's the current World time. Your clock should match the time in your city or the nearest city in your country or province/state in your country.

Note: The * means the place is observing daylight saving time(DST)
rainbow_monkey 03-29-2006, 12:03 AM I remember last year we forgot to set our clocks because we were to busy laying down tile on our whole downstairs floor. We couldn't watch T.V. much, so we wern't aware of it most of the time. :lolol:
And we had to be somewhere one morning at ten in the morning, we got there an hour late! It was really funny!
Magln Meow 03-29-2006, 12:37 AM ^ Yup, I've had problems like that before except my story is different:
A few years back we were trying to set the clocks forward but kept getting interrupted and spent too much time trying to set the clock back, so, lol, by the time we were done being preoccupied we were not sure what time it was anymore, it could have been five or more minutes that past. We set it to the average time, but it was confusing. We checked the computer but wasn't sure if it went back on Daylight Saving's Day and we got even more confused. So finally, we called a friend and they told us what time it was. We then set our clocks correctly. But it was a couple of hours of pure confusion on not knowing what time it was.
(Thanks for the heads up Ryan! :D)

Nice! ;)
J to the izzosh 03-29-2006, 12:49 AM Oh, right... I'd forgotten about that DST stuff... Thanks, mate.
thezeppzone 03-29-2006, 01:27 AM I completely forgot until I heard the announcement at the end of school today. Awesome. I work until midnight saturday, so 2 hours later it will really be 3 hours later! Wonder if that extends my curfue on the road, haha... My luck I'll work bright and early Sunday too. Hoorah for having a crappy job. Oh thats right I need the money.
westernrider 03-29-2006, 02:44 AM Ugh - I hate the spring day light savings time. I am ok with adding another hour - but loosing an hour sucks.
DANG IT.
haha :P
thezeppzone 03-29-2006, 12:02 PM We should just make them both spring forward; I mean hey, in 91 years everything will be completely messed up, but in 182 years it will all be normal again, and our lifespan is so short now that no one will really care lol. That's my opinion :P
Backlight 03-29-2006, 01:48 PM I don't have to set the clocks anymore :) Arizona doesn't have daylight savings
Marta 03-29-2006, 02:45 PM ^ Did you live somewhere else before?
I can't remember that we've ever had a problem with the time change. My dad is good about changing the clocks :lolol:
Chris 03-29-2006, 03:55 PM If you haven't set your clocks 1 hour ahead, and you're in Europe, please do so now.
If they haven't put their clocks forward already, they must have been late for everything
Magln Meow 03-29-2006, 04:31 PM If they haven't put their clocks forward already, they must have been late for everything
:P Yea, what I confusing day if somebody didn't know there was such a thing such as Daylight Saving's Day.
rainbow_monkey 03-29-2006, 05:05 PM I don't have to set the clocks anymore :) Arizona doesn't have daylight savings

* Jo * 03-29-2006, 09:53 PM lol we were supposed to have daylight savings last week but the commonwealth games were on so we're havin it this weekend
SUPER RP06 03-29-2006, 10:44 PM I looked up Wikipedia about DST
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_Saving_Time
Your computer should adjust for DST automatically
If not, double-click on the clock on the bottom-right of the screen, that should bring the date/time properties window (Windows only)
Your computer should be set to the current time. If not, follow these guidelines:
Is the computer set to the correct timezone? (If not, go to the "Time Zone" tab and select the correct timezone)
Is the checkbox beside "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" is checked? (Under "Time Zone" tab) (Note: Some places don't observe DST.)
Windows XP have the feature that you can sychronize with an Internet time server. Did you turn it on? (under "Internet Time" tab)
Angelica 03-30-2006, 12:18 AM I like daylight savings time. It gives me more hours in the day during the summer, and that's always nice.
Arwen 03-30-2006, 07:53 AM Oh, how I hate changing the clocks!!!
hacker92 03-30-2006, 04:31 PM Complete confusion at my house! We usually set them when we go to bed, not when we are supposed to. I might stay up and ATTEMPT to sychronize the clocks. They are all right now.
