I read a few posts and it said thaty ou can only get an avatar if you post 500 times. But as I was reading the F.A.Q. section I saw this:
If you have more than 50 posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar.
Is this right, or do I need to post 500 times for an avatar?

yes, it's true that you could have an avatar if you have more than 50 posts. Lissa lowered the avatar limit
