I tryied the search but the answer's alway php.net or devsomething are there any other place that is easy to learn php? I'm a beginer. Also, would it be possible for a person to know/learn both cgi and php?

also, have you checked out the introductory tutorial at php.net? I think it's a good way to get you started, then you can move on to the tutorials at places like devshed.com

Webmonkey (http://www.webmonkey.com) (click on the programming section) and daholygoat.com (http://www.daholygoat.com) both have good tutorials. Or just Google "Beginning PHP Tutorials", etc. Oh yeah, evilwalrus.com (http://www.evilwalrus.com) is good, too.
