Hey everyone, my name is Siren and this is my first post here. Been using the main site for a while now and now I have a question. I have a .com site (I'm a pro wrestling manager) and I would like to make a layout for my site that looks like Alex Shelley's http://www.geocities.com/alexshelleyonline/layout4.jpg
Now my question is how do I make something like that and how do I set it up on my site?
I have Adobe Photoshop CS for an editing program (I'm on Mac). Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance:)

Open up an image that size and fill it with whatever color you want then start adding pictures until it looks like that! lol. I'm sorry if this didn't help much (i don't use photoshop, did you want a step by step guide on how to do it in photoshop?). The gun and (what looks like) paint splats would have to be done with brushes. Try google-ing photoshop brushes or something like that and you'll get some stuff. Hope this helps!

Hey Loony!
Thanks for that, I see what you're saying, but one other thing. How do I place frames over it? Like how it is on the main page:
http://alexshelleyonline.com/
And how do I link the words at the top, links to the pages on the site?
Thanks again

Well... I wouldn't make it exactly like the other person's site... make it your own style, of course. There are lots of ways you can do a site with a frame like that. I'm on my 5th layout like that, personally and about to put up a 6th one.
Personally, to accomplish what she did, I use slices, some CSS, and an iframe. My site is done the same way as hers... but different. There is actually several ways to accomplish it and for me, slices, some CSS, and an iframe are the easiest. I use Photoshop 7.0 and ImageReady, but I'm sure CS is at least comparable enough I should be able to walk you through it.
How familiar are you with Photoshop and ImageReady? Do you know what slices are and how to create them?
Edit: Meant to add also, I'm usually on MSN and AIM most nights for a long time. So, if you need real time step by step help.... feel free to IM me. :)

Hey There!
Yea, I had no intention to make it look EXACTLY like that lol, I just wanted to know how it was done and how the frame was made, that way I could make my own.
I'm decent enough in PS to make graphics and stuff, I'm just getting into using bushes (found a ton recently). Also, I think I know what slices are, but have never used them, same with CSS. I'm a fast learner though, so if you tell me how to do it, I can probably pick it up fast. I added you to my buddy list, so when you get on, I'll im you.
Thanks for the help

You could also use image mapping to make the words at the top be links, and if you need help on frames read this tutorial:
