Have you? I remember as a kid I wanted to change my name to "Robin" :lol: I hated my name because nobody could pronounce it correctly and it ended up all butchered. Now I have gotten used to nicknames <3

Actually, I just remembered that I hate my middle name. I don't know if it's a Vietnamese tradition or something, but my mother's middle name is also mine and my sisters' middle name. I really don't like it... I'd rather have no middle name at all.

I love my name, not many people have my name (its Suzy)...
what i hate though are people who try and make it longer and insist its Susan even though i tell them its not....or my friends who are so lazy and cant say the whole thing, as short as it is and decide to shorten it even further...

I don't think I've ever wanted to change my first name, but it's an unusual spelling, so everyone (teachers included) spells it wrong. I do have issues with my middle names (I have two, one of which was never intended to be there, but my great-grandmother insisted), becuase they have caused no end of trouble of late. (Driver's license, graduation-related stuff, etc.) My mum has called the school at least four times, because they keep using one, then changed it to the one that wasn't supposed to be there...but can't actually get it right...:rolleyes:

When I was little, I wanted my name to be Emily because it was my 'favorite name' for some silly reason I can't remember. Right now though, I am quite happy with my name and wouldn't want to change it. :)

When I was little, I wanted to be Christina, but now I think it's just silly. I guess it was just a kind of thing like the color pink. I think I lost my love of both at the same time.

On another note, I've always known it's lih-sa, she'd spell it Lisa if it were lee-sa.
