i used a code from lissa to make a form and i had my friends try it. when they sent it, it said that they had to sign in to their e-mail account. it also happened to me when i tried it...is that supposed to happen? if not, what can i do to stop it?

Response-o-matic you have to pay for. If you want one that is COMPLETELY free and works the same, use www.freedback.com.

Sorry, what do you mean by they have to login to their e-mail account? What script are you using?

Take Care,

War - When you use the "mailto" script, even if you enter information, once you click the button, it just opens up the email.

Hey,

Yeah thats what the mailto: link does. It opens your default email client's send email page.

See:

http://www.webdevelopersnotes.com/tips/html/1.php3

So if you want your users to be able to email you and dont want them using their client then you should use a cgi or php script.

cya,

Will
