I use PSP 8 and ive made one image map and i have saved it in a folder. Last night, i made another image map (with rollovers...the first one has rollovers too) and i saved everything in a different folder. When i went to view it,(the 2nd map) i relized that my new images i had made for the rollover part of the image map had replaced the images in a different folder.(meaning the new image map rollovers for the 2nd map had replaced the images for the rollover in the 1st map). I admit i did name them the same thing b/c its easier to remember (names like 1, 2, 3.gif, etc). Why did it replace it? the only connection i can make is that the two image maps were both constructed with psp, but if its all in a different folder, it shouldnt matter, right? So, i ended up deleting the second image map, and i had to re-make all the images. Which leads me to another question. Since all my rollover images are basically the same (for the map) except for one detail, i figured it could just copy and paste one image i managed to save and keep copying and pasting it, only changing the one detail. But when i opened the image, on the colors palatte, the colors were "locked" in black. I couldnt change the color to an actual color (you could change to dif shades of black and white though). I finally figured out a way around that...but why did it do that?!
