That was ok for my cursor, becasue I made the background black to blend in with my site background. But my friend, wants a cursor with a transparent background. Well, are you using PSP7, 8, or PSP9? If so, then HOPEFULLY this will work:

When you open the image to your PSP, click the selection tool (with the dotted lined box, a rope, and a magic wand). Click the Magic wand option. All you have to do is use the magic wand and click on the outside of the image that your friend wants for the cursor.
Then at the top, click on Selections>>> Invert
After that, press "Ctrl C" then "Ctrl V" and a new image will pop up. It will be an image of the cursor, but it will have no background.
Then save.

I've done it before, but I can't PROMISE you that this will work, but it's worth a try. :)

Look at the bottom and it should say "Mask" with a color below it.That is the color that will make it transparent. So if it is white, use white and it will be transparent when you save it. If you want white in your cursor, then select a color like you would normally, then click the arrow next to the mask color and it will set the mask to that color, so then when you use that color it will be transparent when you save.
