Hi I'm in need of a free graphic program but I don't know which one I should use because I'm scared it'll harm my computer. Please reply to this as soon as you can because I'm desperate! Thanx :)

GIMP is safe and is a great example of a free graphics program!

I personally have PaintShop Pro and PhotoShop. Both are awsome. Theres lots of brushes that can be put into them too so theres a huge variety of what you can do. Id Recomend them. :)

I have Fireworks. I' still learning how to use it, but for the most part I know how to use it well. [heheh] :D

Hmm..this is a tough one...

If you want something extremely efficient and gives you the best results, I recommend Photoshop. The new ones cost well over 500 dollars though!

If you want something cheaper, but still gets the job done, try Paint Shop Pro. I think that's around 100 dollars (correct me if I'm wrong).

Another free graphics program is PhotoPlus (try Googling it). It's not very efficient, but it's basic enough ^^

I've tried Fireworks once, and while I think it's really good, it may take a while to get used to. I've never tried GIMP before, so you might wanna check that out!

Yeah, I like Photoshop Elements, but I've just obtained Fireworks and I'm experimenting with it, too. Photoshop and Fireworks are very similar.

for a windows Paint Shop Pro is very good. I know 10 is out, or whatever they call it, but i just got 8 cuz I'm used 2 it.
