I wanted to mention a graphics program that is totally free that Lissa forgot to mention on the sticky on this board, as well as on her site, which was what pushed me to post here. It's called GIMP and you can download it completely free of charge at download.com. I suppose it's a lot like Photoshop. You can make layers, do blur, etc., pretty much everything you can do in Photoshop.

Just thought I'd mention another alternative for free graphics programs. :hamster:

Yeah, i have probs installing it too :( pity...

I'm not 100% sure, but I've heard GIMP is a mac program, so that could be why people are having trouble with it...

Personally I have a mac computer, and I use GIMP and I've had no problems with it... But as I said, I'm not really that sure...

I have a windows computer and it works perfect, no problems ever, but I switched to photoshop, because it's a million times better

I use GIMP under Windows also from time to time.Never had any problems.
Neither on Linux.
But i prefer Photoshop too :)

You have to download the GTK program before you install GIMP, so that might be the problem. I have always ran it fine. Use photoshop CS 8 though now, and I prefer it over GIMP. :)
