View Full Version : School work sucks
luvhartz 01-22-2006, 04:20 PM Tomorrow is the deadline for my 2 pieces of geography coursework. I am such a procrastinator!! I'm even doing it now =/ So anyways after I've posted this i'l do one of them and then tomorrow i will have to go to his classroom and ask him about staying behind, because one piece is on the school computers and it needs printing out. No doubt when the lesson rolls around he will go through everyone and when he gets to me be all "Ah yes kerry.. yeah i have one for you.. second is late" its the last freaking lesson of the day  baaaaah!
Not only do i have that I have alot of Food Technology coursework too. My business CW needs re-writing and my maths is only half way finished. I hate it when they pile on the work. In english we just arent doing anything anyway so i tend to use that sometimes to catch up if i can :( No doubt the pressure will start on that soon seeing as the teacher cant be bothered to teach us really. =/ . The pressures really getting put on, thank god it's my final year there!
Anyone else having this problem?
Douglas 01-22-2006, 04:30 PM Yes, I have a couple project due that I haven't started, and that I should have started :D
luvhartz 01-22-2006, 04:56 PM Yeah but the problem is each one of those pieces of coursework actually counts as a percentage of the grade i leave highschool with when i turn 16 [in 5months] :( Like my foodtech, the one 1 and only piece for that lesson counts for 60%!!!! The other 40% is in the final exam in May, I am litterally swamped. maybe we should make a club "procrastinators annonamous" not that anyone would join, or it would be made because we would all keep putting it off :(
Douglas 01-22-2006, 05:11 PM Oh, well that's bad :( I mean mine is like 3% of the entire term
I know what you mean, I've had my science coursework since the end of last school year, and I'm just starting it now to improve it.
Backlight 01-22-2006, 05:58 PM i hate waiting till the last min to do work.. ;) but thats what i end up doing all the time

luvhartz 01-23-2006, 05:55 AM It could be worse
never say that, because it came true =/ feeling like crap basically, got up 2 hours early managed to finish i an hour, so i can go to sleep for an hour now, not that i will be able to sleep NOW but whatever :( today i that lesson when i hadn in my 2 pieces, we start THREE more inwhich we have 8 weeks to do those :(
liwymi 01-23-2006, 08:50 PM So its worse? or is it worse cos you got your period?? well if its the latter, then you may feel better if you switch to washable pads and menstrual cups, instead of using disposables.

I'l bare that in mind =/ lol, im just not looking forward to wednesday when i am forced to walk on a beach and round a nature reserve all day in the freezing cold when i'm feeling like this :( especially with my geog teacher
Owlie42 01-24-2006, 02:41 AM always seems to show up when you least need it, right?
I have a huge biology test tomorrow...and I know nothing. I'm *trying* to study right now, but for some reason protein synthesis just isn't holding my interest. And I have a whole bunch of fencing-related stuff to take care of, and whatever creative writing homework I have...
It's not so bad as it was two or three weeks ago, though (prep. for finals and all this other random stuff teachers insist on throwing at you before the end of the quarter...)
