You need a domain, and a cPanel. Go inot your cPanel and make an FTP account for the person you want to host, the username's the same as the folder you gave them. It's pretty easy. XD

mmkzzzz i got this when i tried


host: ftp.ladii.net
username: ladii.net.blah.
password: knt
directory: /blah


but when i try to do it in smartftp it dont want to work...:(

that should be all you need to log in. have you tried a different ftp client. try the dos one that way you don't have to install anything.

Try This, when i host people they have to type:
theirusernameforftp @ ftp.mydomain

in the box inseatd of just:
theirusernameforftp

Try that!
