Hi,

I am confused a bit about running javascript.

I downloaded a script for a calender which is run by java code...the code starts out like this...
<script type="text/javascript" src="calendarDateInput.js">

And when I download "calendarDateInput.js" I am not able to open the file. I have tried other .js files and they don't open either. I have programs such as dreamweaver, frontpage, and editplus which should all open the files...can anyone help? Do you need special software to use java on your website?

The error says," 'document' is undefined"

There's this paragraph:

The above references an external .js file. Download calendarDateInput.js (by right clicking, and selecting "Save As"), and upload to your webpage directory. It also uses 3 images, which you should download by right clicking, and selecting "Save As":

Right below are the three images
