For some reason I can't change the width of the news. I tried changing the width in the template, but it didn't work and whenever I try to edit the templates I get an error message when I try to save the changes. Does anyone know what this means?

You have to specify the template you want to use (unless you edited the default template). There might have been an error in your installation. Check your server requirements. Cutenews works on my site and the server I have has PHP 4 scripting.

I would just try to reinstall the script. Post what happens and make a screenshot if necessary.
